York hospital provides ultrasound services to patients at the main York Hospital campus as well as our Wells campus. Sonographers are responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound exams on patients of all ages. Under the direction of a board certified radiologist, sonographers are responsible for safely operating equipment to produce diagnostic quality images.
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- ARDMS Registered
Nice To Haves
- 1+ yrs ultrasound experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Performing ultrasound studies including, but not limited to, General, OB (all trimesters), small parts, and limited vascular studies
- Detailed documentation
- Excellent communication with radiologists to ensure quality exams
- Exceptional Patient Care
