About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS for an exciting Travel or Local job in Elmhurst, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of general registered ultrasound experience
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and equipment
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including military training if applicable)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification by ARDMS (Required)
- BLS certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Perform general diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure accurate imaging and proper patient positioning
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality
- Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently during night-shift operations
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis
- Maintain proper documentation and imaging records
