Medical, Dental & Vision insurance: Starts day 1 PTO: up to 30 days annually for FT 40 hour new hires including hospital holidays Retirement: A hospital funded pension plus a 403(b) with company match Schedule: 40 hours/week Flexible Option 1: Four 10 hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) plus weekend rotation Option 2: Three 10 hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) and two 5 hour shifts (7:00 AM to 12:00 PM) plus weekend rotation Weekend rotation: 1 weekend every 4 weeks (7:00 AM to 11:30 AM). Flexibility available if interested in picking up more weekends. Rotating holidays: 1 to 2 per year (no Christmas). In addition to job duties below the technologist will be responsible for orienting other employees, assisting in creating manuals, scheduling, and possible rotation across multiple sites. Responsibilities also included: Follicular monitoring First trimester OB scans Procedures such as Sono and HyCoSy Job Summary Summary: Responsible for providing quality patient care while producing ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities also include completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience. Requirements

  • Diploma/certificate in sonography
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - required within 90 days
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required within 90 days
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively evaluate and problem solve.
  • Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's preferred
  • ultrasound scanning experience 0-1 year preferred
  • Ability to guide, teach, and motivate others.
  • Good business acumen skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures which may include transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning patients
  • Explain procedures to patients taking into consideration physical and emotional needs
  • Independently perform Ultrasound exams on patients providing high quality images
  • Records digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintains pertinent records
  • Follicular monitoring
  • First trimester OB scans
  • Procedures such as Sono and HyCoSy
