About The Position

Ultrasound Technologist- Anchorage, Alaska Schedule- Per Diem/ Days Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • 9 months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation

Nice To Haves

  • 9 months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation
