About The Position
Ultrasound Technologist Position Highlights: Position: Ultrasound Technologist Location: Evanston Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Part Time 20 hours Hours: 6pm-10pm evenings Call: 4-6 calls per month/ as needed Required Travel: Local- SKokie What you will do: Perform ultrasound exam Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort Interprets ultrasound Cleans and maintains equipment Schedules patients if necessary
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- CPR-BLS required.
- Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required.
- Registry eligible required.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer Registered Ultra sonographer.
