About The Position

Radiology Ltd. a 500-employee medical imaging company in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a full time general Ultrasound Technologist Float to join our staff. We are a partner company of Lumexa Imaging and the premier provider of diagnostic and interventional radiology services in Southern Arizona since 1933. Our company’s subspecialized, fellowship-trained experts in body imaging, breast imaging, interventional radiology, molecular imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, and pediatric radiology utilize advanced technology to deliver high-quality expedient interpretations. We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist Float that has the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Candidates should possess the following qualities: Customer Service - Ability to provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times. Position entails performing general ultrasound including abdomen, pelvis, vascular, carotids and Venous Doppler studies. The US Technologist must be familiar with standards, concepts and procedures in a clinical setting. The position requires the ability to maintain workflow in a fast paced environment, handle stressful and emergency situations effectively. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Provides excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicates with Radiologists and works efficiently with team members. Vascular training helpful.

Requirements

  • Current ARDMS and CPR certification
  • Technologist must also be able to stand, bend, squat and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites throughout Tucson, Green Valley and Oro Valley is required. Mileage for sites outside City of Tucson.
  • Float pay increase is $5 per hour over base pay.
  • This is a safety sensitive position

Nice To Haves

  • Vascular training helpful.
  • two years clinical experience is preferred.
