Job Description: Ultrasound Technologist- Float Location: Suffolk County, NY Hours: 4/10hr shifts between 7am-7pm Organization: New York Imaging . In This Role, You Will: Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac and small parts in an outpatient setting. Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists / cardiologists. Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance. Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited. Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies. Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills. Must be willing and able to float throughout Suffolk County locations

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
  • RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must be willing and able to float throughout Suffolk County locations

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • RDCS/Echo experience is a plus.
