About The Position

Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer | Sterling, VA | PRN | Weekdays Only Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our Float Pool. In this role, you are the steady, reassuring presence for patients when they need it most. Your professionalism, empathy, and sonography expertise help ensure every patient feels supported and cared for throughout their visit. About the Role This is a PRN position with a consistent weekday schedule: No weekends, evenings, major holidays, or call Free on-site parking available

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in Breast and General Ultrasound required
• RDMS certification required upon hire
• Current BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general and breast ultrasound examinations , including: Breast OB (1st trimester) GYN Abdominal Small parts
• Consistently acquire and evaluate high-quality images for diagnostic accuracy
• Communicate effectively with radiologists regarding exam findings
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and empathy
