Job Description: Our new Urology practice in East Brunswick is looking for a per diem Ultrasound Technician. One day per week, preferably Thursday. Astera is here to help patients overcome cancer and blood diseases, and improve their quality of life. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
Proficiency in urology ultrasonography field
ARDMS Certification
Knowledge of medical terminology

Responsibilities

Operating imaging equipment
Reviewing images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
Identifying normal and abnormal imaging results
Communicating a summary of the results to physicians or other health professionals
Alerting physicians to urgent problems
