About The Position
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field! Must be willing to drive within Detroit area. US Tech is responsible for performing ultrasound to patients in their respective homes 1 day a week, as well as materials management, scribing, and performing chart checks. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth.
Requirements
- Valid US Tech Certification
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong awareness of medical terminology
- Strong desire for patient care
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operating equipment
- Perform ultrasound on wound patients
- Image interpretation
- Patient interaction
- Documentation and reporting
- Order medical supplies.
- Scribe for respective doctors.
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients.
- Scribe for skin sweeps.
