About The Position
Vascular Sonographer – Vein Focus Birmingham Heart Clinic (BHC) | US Heart & Vascular Birmingham Heart Clinic (BHC), part of US Heart & Vascular, is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to support our growing venous disease and vascular services. This role focuses on vein ablation procedures and lower extremity venous reflux studies in a collaborative, physician-led practice. Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No weekends
Requirements
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred
- ARDMS or CCI certification required or eligible
- Vascular or venous experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered for the right candidate
- Strong technical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Team-oriented and dependable

Responsibilities
- Perform lower extremity venous Doppler reflux studies
- Assist with and support vein ablation procedures
- Obtain high-quality vascular images following established protocols
- Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent outcomes
- Provide compassionate, professional care to patients
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
