About The Position

The Greenbrier Clinic is seeking a skilled and certified Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for evaluation and treatment by physicians. This role is crucial in providing accurate imaging to support patient care within our Radiology Department.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Completion of a certificate program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is also acceptable.
• Certification in Diagnostic Ultrasound
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• Registry Eligible
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Previous experience in ultrasound technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and care.
• Collaborate with physicians for the evaluation and interpretation of imaging results.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Document and communicate findings accurately within patient records.
