How you’ll contribute An Ultrasound Technician who excels in this role: Provides quality ultrasound studies to include abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvis, breast, and testicular small parts for use by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness. Maintains appropriate files, supplies, and equipment. Perform sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician. Provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan. Maintain supplies and ensure clean and orderly work areas; notify supervisor of needed items. Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity. Act as a consultant and educational resource for physicians and staff regarding appropriateness and accuracy of scans. Requirements

  • Applicants should be a graduate of diagnostic medical sonography program or school of radiology.
  • ARRT/DMS certification.
  • BLS.

Nice To Haves

  • ARRT with one (1) year DMS experience preferred.
