About The Position

Do you have the PRN career opportunities as an Ultrasound Technician PRN you want with your current employer? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Los Robles Regional Medical Center which is part of the nations leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. As the Ultrasound Technologist you will perform Ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas: OB/GYN, Abdomen, Neurosonology or Peripheral Vascular. You will obtain information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, disease diagnosis, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta, amongst others. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high-quality ultrasound examinations. You will assist the Radiologist during biopsies, and assume responsibilities for non-technical duties of Radiology when available, such as clerical, transportation, and reception.

Requirements

  • Advanced certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in the categories of ABD, OBGYN and neurosurgery required.
  • Current ARRT certification or Current RVT certification preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic training in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years' experience preferred.

Responsibilities
