Ultrasound Technician- OBGYN Location: Wading River, NY Organization: New York Health-OBGYN Why Join Us? Your expertise will contribute to advancing diagnostic accuracy and improving patient outcomes. In This Role, You Will: Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac and small parts in an outpatient setting. Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists / cardiologists. Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance. Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited. Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies. Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
- RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.
- RDCS/Echo experience is a plus.
