About The Position

Join our team as a PRN, Ultrasound Tech in Tulsa, OK. The Ultrasound Technologist supports patient care by performing quality ultrasound procedures.

Requirements

Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
If registry eligible upon hire, the technologist must become registered within one year of hire.
Must maintain registry during employment.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

One year or more of Ultrasound Tech experience.

Responsibilities

Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scan.
Operate ultrasound equipment to provide images and data for medical treatment and diagnosis.
Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
Evaluate ultrasound images for technical quality, and exposure, and transmit to PACS.
Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners during interventional ultrasound procedures.
