Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children? We are seeking a passionate and caring Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team! At Children's Wisconsin, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our little patients. As an Ultrasound Technologist you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assisting with minor surgical procedures for subsequent evaluations and treatment. As an Ultrasound Tech you m ust be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.

Requirements

ARDMS – registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Abdomen required upon start date. ARDMS certification must be maintained throughout employment.
RVT – registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Vascular required upon start date.
CPR Certification – Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required upon start date.
Associate’s Degree.
Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
