About The Position

This position involves operating ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. The role requires providing patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology, and delivering patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Effective communication with staff and radiologists is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT.
No experience required
BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Must become registered by the ARDMS within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required
Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required
(BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS) Required

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience Preferred
RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Preferred
RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Preferred
