Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography
- Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire)
- AHA BLS

Responsibilities
- Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
- Assists with amnio procedure biopsies
- Processes and files films as needed
- Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician
- Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
- Other related duties as assigned
