Job Summary: Operates Ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of Imaging procedures including recordings for the diagnosis of breast disease. Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of requested imaging procedures. Prepares room, supplies, and equipment for patient and physician needs. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Ultrasonography
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Breast Ultrasound registry (Must obtain registry within 1 year of date of hire.)
  • Current CPR (BCLS) certification

Responsibilities

  • Operates Ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of Imaging procedures including recordings for the diagnosis of breast disease.
  • Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures.
  • Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of requested imaging procedures.
  • Prepares room, supplies, and equipment for patient and physician needs.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
