About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our Imaging department in Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in various areas, including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging.
Requirements
- ARDMS certified or registry eligible in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular (RVT).
- Must pass Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular examinations to qualify as a Sonographer Level II.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate approach to patient care and comfort.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a clinical imaging setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Ensure the quality of images and provide preliminary assessments of findings.
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
