Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Claremore offers a variety of services for all ages and in a location convenient for Claremore, Oklahoma residents. The hospital is 49-bed acute care medical center, offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery. This position exists to provide ultrasound images and procedures to patients at a technical level.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and ARDMS registered and/or eligible.
- A working knowledge of ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operates ultrasound equipment, prepares patients exam rooms, maintains equipment, supplies and medications. Transports patients.
- Provides patient services using various imaging modalities for the successful accomplishment of hospital/departmental goals and objectives.
- Assist with orientation of new employees.
- Performs clerical, file room and patient charge duties; assists with department PI program.
