About The Position

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently and professionally. He/she also efficiently operates equipment and assists physicians during special procedures as well as maintains and improves ultrasound knowledge and skills. The Ultrasound Technologist will also provide coverage in other areas of the Radiology Department as needed. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience in Ultrasound.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Graduate from an accredited program.
• ARDMS registered (or eligible).
• RVT Registered.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently and professionally.
• Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently.
• Assist physicians during special procedures.
• Maintain and improve ultrasound knowledge and skills.
• Provide coverage in other areas of the Radiology Department as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Pay Range: $34.36 - $42.95 (depending on experience)
