About The Position

Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Certified or eligible for certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Certified or eligible for certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT) (S)
• Certified or eligible for certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• All sonographers must obtain certification within twenty-four months of eligibility or cross training
• Certified in Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or obtain within 90 days of employment
• Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology
• Prior experience in ultrasound
• Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with two (2) years cardiac related experience
• Registered Vascular Technologist with two (2) years vascular related experience
