About The Position

The Ultrasound Tech-Multi position at Miami Valley North involves independently performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-directed interventional procedures while utilizing proper techniques and protocols. The role requires working under the scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment. The Ultrasound Tech coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Ultrasound Department, exercising professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition. There may be responsibilities for performing procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs, and on-call responsibilities may also be required.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Ultrasonography.
• Credentialed in Ultrasound technology by ARDMS or ARRT.
• Vascular Credentialed by ARDMS or CCI.
• Minimum of one additional registry in practiced specialties approved by ARDMS.
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience in Ultrasound.
