About The Position

The Ultrasound Technologist Multi Registered position is a PRN role based in various hospitals under Premier Health. The position requires the individual to work variable 12-hour shifts and is classified as non-exempt. The technologist will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. The role does not involve supervising any full-time employees and does not have fiscal responsibilities. The population served includes all age groups, from infants to geriatrics.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Ultrasonography.
• No prior job-related work experience required.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in Ultrasound.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations as per physician orders.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety during procedures.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
• Document patient information and examination results accurately.
• Assist in the training of new staff or students as needed.
