About The Position

The Ultrasound Technologist Multi Registered position is a PRN role based in various hospitals under Premier Health. The position requires the individual to work variable 12-hour shifts and is classified as non-exempt. The technologist will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on patients of all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. This role does not involve supervisory responsibilities or fiscal accountability, and the individual will not supervise any full-time equivalents (FTEs).

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Ultrasonography.
• No prior job-related work experience required.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in Ultrasound.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all age groups.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
• Document and report findings to the appropriate medical staff.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards in the workplace.
