Be Heard: Share your ideas and help shape the way we work through improvement huddles, employee surveys, and town hall meetings A Day in the Life Patient Care & Safety: Delivers high-quality, safe echocardiography services aligned with Munson Healthcare’s mission, values, AIDET principles, patient identification standards, infection control, and emergency response (CPR, isolation procedures). Clinical Expertise: Performs a full range of echocardiographic studies (adult, limited pediatric exposure, stress, TEE, Doppler, contrast studies) under appropriate supervision, identifies critical findings, and promptly communicates life-threatening abnormalities. Physician & Team Support: Assists physicians with specialized procedures, collaborates with cardiologists for feedback and satisfaction, and supports other CDS procedures as needed. Operations & Workflow: Documentation, billing, charges, and digital reporting to ensure efficient operations and timely medical record completion. Equipment & Supplies: Maintains, cleans, calibrates, and troubleshoots equipment; ensures proper disinfection; and orders operational supplies. Professional Standards & Compliance: Maintains required credentials (ARDMS/CCI), meets IAC accreditation standards, completes annual competencies and testing, and stays current through continuing education. Flexibility & Continuous Improvement: Covers staffing needs, travels as required, performs related duties (ECG, stress testing), offers operational improvement suggestions, and completes additional assigned responsibilities.
