About The Position

Operates and maintains proficiency on all Ultrasound equipment within the department to provide quality imaging. Performs patient procedures and provides appropriate scanning techniques and images. In addition, the Ultrasound Technologist III will assist the supervisor with ACR accreditation, addressing quality concerns, reviewing studies for QA/QC, and working with radiologists to develop protocols. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must meet the educational requirement for Ultrasound Technologist certification with either ARDMS or ARRT
  • ARDMS registered in Ultrasound Technology.
  • ARDMS Registered in Abdomen and/or OB/GYN.
  • CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire
  • One or more years of experience in the field of Ultrasound

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Additional registries through ARDMS
  • Previous hospital Ultrasound experience
