Ultrasound Technologist works closely with all Radiology personnel including the Ultrasound Supervisor, Administrative Director, and Radiologists to perform technical procedures in the department of Radiology to include ultrasound procedures.

Registered Radiographer with the State of Louisiana as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or certified by an accredited program and registry eligible for Ultrasound.
Certified by an accredited Ultrasound Program and Registry eligible for Ultrasound, or Licensed as a Radiographer with the State of Louisiana.
Must maintain required hours of in-service per year to meet requirements for CEUs as stipulated by the Louisiana State Board of Radiology Technologists and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
CPR certification.
Ability to communicate with patient, family, peers and medical personnel.
