About The Position
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis in various regions of the body. This position requires performing scanning examinations as requested by referring physicians and modifying the examination based on findings. The sonographer will assist the Radiologist or clinician in special procedures and must be able to react quickly to emergency situations. The role also involves routine equipment checks and maintaining composure during procedures with patients who may have various medical conditions.
