About The Position

The Ultrasound Technologist - Cardiac at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing cardiac ultrasound procedures. This role involves using ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images and performing professional quality cardiac ultrasound procedures, including stress echoes and transesophageal ultrasound studies. Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac ultrasound procedures and techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Conducting ultrasound tests to capture cardiac images for diagnostic purposes
• Preparing patients for procedures and explaining the process to them
• Ensuring all equipment is in working order and properly maintained
• Collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals on treatment plans
• Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
