About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team in San Diego, CA. This full-time position offers a base salary starting from $80,000 per year, plus incentive pay of $10 per study performed. The role is crucial in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with healthcare professionals for accurate diagnoses.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen and Obstetrics/Gynecology is required.
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Ultrasound Technologist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced ultrasound techniques is a plus.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification (Preferred).
• Ultrasound Certification (Preferred).
• CPR Certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret ultrasound images.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedure details and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technology and participate in ongoing professional development.
