About The Position

The Advanced Ultrasound Technologist may be required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients, utilize sterile techniques and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality imaging studies. The Advanced Ultrasound Technologist must routinely work within a minimum of 3 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT or CCI Vascular certification as directed by department managers/supervisors to meet the specific needs of the departments. This includes but is not limited to; Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), Fetal Echo (FE), Neurosonology (NE), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) or Pediatric Sonography (PS).
