About The Position

Requirements
- Experience Required Previous hospital experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Successfully completion of physics boards and abdominal boards through ARDMS
- Candidate must be CPR Certified
- Registered with ARDMS in Abdomen (If not registered at time of hire, abdominal registry must be completed within 6 months of employment)

- Previous hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Reviews appointment schedules and suggests changes necessary to provide maximum use of the available resources (re: equipment and staff) in order to assure the most efficient service to the patients and physicians.
- Operates and maintains proficiency on all Ultrasound equipment within the department in order to provide quality imaging.
- Performs patient procedures and provides appropriate scanning techniques and images.
- Images are labelled with correct name and identification number.
