We are seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Tech. As our new Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic sonographic procedures working with a Perinatologist. Requirements

Graduate of a School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
Current ultrasound registry required.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in MFM, high-risk OB or an acute-care setting is strongly preferred.
Current American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

You will prepare and position patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
You will obtain high quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
You will maintain proactive, effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings patient histories and test results as appropriate.
You will collaborate and confer with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
You must have a thorough knowledge of congenital heart disease and how it manifests in the fetus
