We are seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Tech. As our new Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic sonographic procedures working with a Perinatologist. You will perform procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. Requirements

  • Graduate of a School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
  • Current ultrasound registry required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in MFM, high-risk OB or an acute-care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • You will prepare and position patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • You will obtain high quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
  • You will maintain proactive, effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings patient histories and test results as appropriate.
  • You will collaborate and confer with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
  • You must have a thorough knowledge of congenital heart disease and how it manifests in the fetus
