About The Position

The Ultrasound Field Service Engineer position at Philips involves supporting the Ultrasound business in the New Haven, CT area. Requirements

• BSEE/BSEET preferred, or two-year formal education combined with appropriate high tech related experience.
• At least three years of experience demonstrating repair and troubleshooting skills with Ultrasound Equipment is preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Capability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in service repair, preventative maintenance, field change orders/installations for Ultrasound equipment.
• Identify and resolve customer issues, providing appropriate communication and involving Service and Sales Personnel as needed.
• Collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to define problems.
• Interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
