As an ultrasound engineer at Nudge, you will:

Requirements

  • Strong engineering / physics first principles
  • Experience with ultrasound metrology
  • Experience with acoustic modeling software
  • Strong understanding of biomedical applications of ultrasound
  • PhD in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Demonstrated history of exceptional technical contribution

Responsibilities

  • Improve acoustic models of transducer arrays and subject-specific acoustic properties with feedback from benchtop and clinical testing
  • Evaluate the devices for both safety and performance considerations
  • Inform the design of next-generation devices through modeling and prototype testing
  • Develop software and algorithms for signal processing, beamforming, holography, and imaging
