About The Position

Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 14 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. Job Summary: Under the clinical direction of a radiologist and general supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor, or Diagnostic Imaging Center Manager or designee and Technical Director performs a variety of ultrasound scanning and imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ultrasound for ultrasound diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Performs all specialty areas of ultrasound exams to include assisting radiologists with procedures. Prepares and reviews images for radiologist / physician interpretation for diagnostic purposes. In addition to a collaborative work environment, we offer a generous compensation package:

Requirements

  • Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) from CAAHEP accredited program
  • RDMS, ARRT (US), or CCI credentialed/registered (eligible if not yet graduated) in appropriate ultrasound specialty.
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and not less than 6 months practical ultrasound experience required.
  • Vascular registry (if not already) within one year of hire.
  • CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 6 months practical experience as a full-time sonographer with vascular experience and vascular registry is desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years' practical experience as a Full-Time Echocardiographer is desirable.
