The Ultrasound Cardiac Lab Instructor is responsible for maintaining the inventory of all supplies, equipment, AV materials, and laboratory manuals, as well as monitoring the maintenance of Skills Lab equipment and ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of the Lab. This role provides technical support and assistance to the Program Director and Faculty, ensuring that lab experiences are well-prepared, organized, implemented, and evaluated. The instructor assists faculty in developing and implementing clinically-based scanning protocols, grading student performance and lab assignments, and monitoring and reporting on student progress, including scan grading. Additionally, the instructor assists with student advising documentation, provides tutoring, mentoring, and one-on-one sessions as directed, and helps with remedial work and open simulation lab practice. The position also involves preparing, monitoring, and filing competency checklists, completing necessary paperwork, demonstrating effective integration of current scanning protocols, technologies, and online activities, and maintaining professionalism.
