About The Position

Responsible for managing the daily operation of assigned areas by ensuring appropriately trained and number of staff, adequate supplies and inventory, functional equipment and monitoring of staff performance. The incumbent manages patient and employee satisfaction activities. Works with Department Quality Management to ensure compliance and improve work processes. Represents his/her work team in assigned meetings. Makes regular reports to Radiology Management regarding operations, quality, and other department initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of a two-year program in Radiology Technology or relevant allied health profession
• Minimum three years experience in management area(s) including pediatric and adult procedures or similar setting and proven team leadership (charge, supervisor, etc.) required.
• Current Florida license/registry/certification in appropriate field of training is required.
