About The Position

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital, established in 1977 and now with 530 licensed beds, offers a comprehensive array of health care services to meet the needs of its growing community. This position, under the guidance of a site designate leader and following established policies, involves performing accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams. The role requires utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists are expected to demonstrate good clinical skills, provide the best possible images for interpretation, and consistently adhere to Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
• Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible, paid at the trainee rate for up to 1 year
• If unregistered must obtain at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) within 1 year from hire
• Additional registry within two years from date of hire
• If registered at hire additional registry must be obtained within 1 year from hire
• CRT-Vascular Tech-ARDMS-within 1 year from hire for Vascular Department
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative
• Demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation
