About The Position

The full-time Ultrasonographer will support the needs of our patients and facility by way of performing the necessary ultrasounds. Hours for this role: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with holiday and weekend rotation.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program resulting in the certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or DMS is required.
Must be able to function independently.
Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team.
Must possess the interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with patients, staff and medical personnel.

Nice To Haves

OB-GYN experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Obtain measurements and calculations of female anatomy while performing a detailed ultrasound examination.
Utilize techniques that result in optimized images.
Obtain appropriate images that clearly demonstrate ultrasound findings in accordance with specified protocols and accreditation standards.
Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding pertinent ultrasound findings in a concise, complete and accurate manner.
Perform departmental tasks that are necessary to maintaining quality throughout all aspects of job duties performed.
Document results utilizing our electronic medical records system.
Other tasks as assigned.
