Highlights: Summary: The Ultrasonographer shall perform duties involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing high frequency sound waves to produce quality images for the detection of pathology. This individual shall perform all diagnostic ultrasound exams including: abdomen, obstetrical, gynecological, small parts, and vascular. In the Vascular Clinic, this individual shall perform all vascular ultrasounds including lower extremity venous insufficiency and DVT vascular checks. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
• Active Ultrasound registry through ARRT or ARDMS required
• BLS required
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Must remain aware of patient conditions at all times.
• Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
