About The Position

The Sonographer will be responsible for the operation of the ultrasound equipment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. This includes handling outpatient, inpatient, and emergent situations. The role involves direct supervision with a Radiologist while performing various procedures. The position is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, consisting of 10-hour days, with no nights, weekends, or call required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in hospital settings.
• RDMS (AB)(RVT)(VT) certified; (BR) preferred.
• BLS certified.
• Minimum Associates Degree from an accredited ultrasound program or ARDMS eligible background.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Handle outpatient, inpatient, and emergent situations effectively.
• Work under the direct supervision of a Radiologist during various procedures.
