About The Position
About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work Performs basic and advanced diagnostic and obstetric ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings. Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in related field
- 7 years of relevant experience in inpatient hospital ultrasound including emergency, surgical and critical care for Hospital Radiology locations Required
- 3 years of relevant experience in obstetric ultrasound and/or high-risk pregnancy ultrasounds for Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) based locations Required
- CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes MFM Upon Hire required And
- CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire required And
- AHA OR ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required
Responsibilities
- Performs basic and advanced diagnostic and obstetric ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings.
- Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed.
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
