US tech would go to OR on operating room days. Varies. Part Time Days Job Summary: Performs ultrasonic recordings for the diagnosis of breast disease and assists the radiologists with invasive procedures. Prepares room, supplies, and equipment for patient and physician needs. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program for Ultrasonography
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Breast Ultrasound registry (Must obtain registry within 1 year of date of hire.)
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification
- Three years experience as an Ultrasonographer with one year experience in breast ultrasound including invasive breast ultrasound procedures.
