Greet participants and provide a high level of customer service. Responsible for preparing lesson plans, instructing, and evaluating class participants. Arrive on time and prepare any needed materials or equipment. Track attendance and communicate program updates to participants.

Requirements

  • Must have a strong understanding of ukulele fundamentals, including basic chords, strumming patterns, and tuning.
  • Greet participants and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Arrive on time and prepare any needed materials or equipment.
  • Instructors are responsible for providing their own instructional materials, tracking class attendance, starting/ending class on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision.
  • Have a positive attitude and show professionalism in communications.
  • Experience working with older adults, confident managing multiple participants at a time, and the ability to create a fun environment.
  • JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
