The Applications Engineer is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Kronos iSeries System. The candidate must demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills. The Application Engineer must possess the ability to work effectively in multiple concurrent projects. Must demonstrate an ability to diagnose and troubleshoot infrastructure (network, security, server, time clocks, etc…) issues. Should demonstrate the ability to assume full ownership and responsibility of incidents and issues through final resolution. Must perform quality assurance and functional testing of software products and documentation with assistance, and assist quality assurance analysts. This position requires the ability to provide Level 2 customer support and after-hours on-call support. Should be able to resolve simple and moderate on-call issues with little assistance, and be able to establish and meet target dates. Will participate in project and new initiative meetings as necessary. Must demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships within and outside department, including Payroll Service Centers, facilities, IT and customer support.
