About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Web Development in producing, maintaining and continually updating designs and user experiences for the Elite Alliance Exchange program. This position will work closely with the VP of Operations, Systems Specialist, and Director of Web Development to conceptualize and create visual designs, user stories, and create revenue driven concepts - delivering highly interactive, personalized experiences for our members and potential members. Experience and familiarity with responsive mobile web design is required. This position requires knowledge of an agile software development process and visual design in order to produce dynamic and rich interactive pages. Experience with front-end code development is highly desirable.

Requirements

Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related discipline – preferred
One to two (1 to 2) years’ experience in similar position
Experience with Photoshop, InVision, Sketch, Figma, and/or other similar design software
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
1-year minimum design experience, HTML and CSS
Self-starter with strong self-management skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; and
Drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all new business opportunities are captured and explored, while maintaining the highest level of service for our members.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the design strategy, user experience, and customer journey, for the company's web platform.
Conceptualize and produce sketches, prototypes, wireframes, and visual assets for desktop and mobile experiences.
Assist in identifying new business and revenue producing opportunities regarding visual design and associated technologies.
Assist with photo manipulation for use in digital (web, email) and physical formats.
Meet regularly with our Systems Specialist and the operations team (Reservations Department) to solicit feedback and comments on membership experience, and assist with revenue generating initiatives.
Assist Director of Web Development with special projects and tasks as required.
Evaluate design solutions and implement updates that improve member experience, engagement, and usability.
Communicate progress, questions, and potential issues clearly and promptly.
Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service.
Stay informed about current UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices, and actively seek opportunities to grow skills and knowledge.
Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks and duties as needed or as directed.
